Kelli wanted me to put the things that I received for Mother's Day on the blog, so I tried a dozen times yesterday and could not get it done for one reason or another. But better late than never so, here goes. The first picture is of the carnations and roses that Dad brought home last week when he was at Cosco. He knows I love flowers and when these are gone I will probably get some more. As of late, he has tended to spoil me a lot that way.

These roses are from Tammie, Ryan and the boys and are from that flower company that sends the best. These roses are unbelievably beautiful, and I love them!! I hope they last a long time,if not, this photo will.
yet another view of the roses from the Nelsons
Within this envelope is a collage of pictures Julia got together of the family and I am always amazed at the things she can do on the computer. I will take these pictures with us on our mission so I can look at our family often. Thanks, JULIA, for this thoughtful gift.
These are cards made for me by the Ayala girls--see the chocolates on the right, they are very tasty!! Nancie gave these to me along with a shopping trip for things for the mission!! Michelle gave me a gift certificate for Mervwyns and an offer of a shopping trip.
This bag was from the Dillards, and it holds an amazing amount of things and I can use it for the trip east, and the mission to put all the necessities in. Thanks Jo and fam!!
Wendi made this photo collage of quotes I have either said or things that mean something to the kids about me. I can't think of anything you forgot, but I am sure there are always things said that were not recorded. (thank goodness she doesn't remember all the goofy things I have said) I think if you enlarge it you can see some of the things. If not ask me!!

I also got a card from Kelli with promise of a tour around the Madison, Alabama area, and a gift certificate from Philip and Melissa. If you have not gotten on their blogs lately, please look at the lovely things Melissa wrote on her blog about me and of her own mother!! I know her mother was as touched by her words as I was!!
All in all it was a lovely day. The mothers got carnations at the ward. Then after church, Julia and Sean had Dad and I over for a scrumptious roast, mashed potatoes, rolls, etc. Lovely!! Then over to Jo's for strawberry shortcake and a fun video that Michelle and Chino took of Nancie's talent night at school. FUNNY!!! I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family!!

Well I got the first of my shots this morning at the doctor's, so I guess that we are really getting ready for our mission!! I go to the dentist tomorrow for xrays and cleaning, then on the 15th to get a physical!! Will keep you all posted on that matter!!
Michelle, I got on the treadmill today for the first time in months and I just made it a half mile and thought that I would pass out, throw up or something stupid Like it or not, I will keep at it!! We are supposed to be able to walk 3 miles without any trouble. I wonder if I can ever do it!!

Okey, last night we primed the wainscoating and today we got it all finished It looks awsome!!

Ah, yes, the bottom of the wainscoating was not painted because we will be putting in a new trim at the bottom. I don't know just when that will be. We have new white outlet covers too!!

AND the air conditioning man did come back because, apparently when someone wired the a/c on the new side of the house it was wired wrong. It was blowing hot air!! Well, it all got fixed, the a/c covers are now back up and it is almost cold in the house. Besides, when he rewired the house it also got the ceiling register in the front room working and darned if it isn't cooler in there too. And to think we are doing all this for someone else to live here for a year and a half!! Pretty charitable, huh??
